(Eagle News) — The Philippines reported 1,232 additional COVID-19 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number rose to 4,016,401 with the additional cases.

Of these, 17,675 were active.

The DOH said about the total number of cases, Metro Manila has had the highest number of new COVID-19 cases over the past two weeks with 2,831 cases.

Calabarzon follows with 1,598; Western Visayas with 1,325; Central Luzon with 975; and Central Visayas with 862.

There are 3,934,344 recoveries so far.

The death toll has risen to 64,382.
